In My Dreams, We Jump Over Wishing Wells
One yell and my anger swells.
Two and now my father yells.
But in my dreams, we jump over wishing wells.
We ring the cow’s bells
As we jump over the moon.
Wrapped in a cocoon,
We giggle and swoon.
When the sun chases away my wishful dreams,
I awake with frightened screams.
