Nostalgia is Comforting
My mind tells me funny things.
Nostalgia is comforting.
Somewhere on the trampoline,
I smile bright and clean.
Long Octobers passed with Charlie brown,
For Halloween I was a clown.
Under my bed a monster’s smile gleams,
But only in my frightful dreams.
A blue house, now yellow,
My first memories never mellow.
But comparison has always been my weakness,
And now I see the world has lost its uniqueness.
